MURPHY TO CHAMPION THE CAUSE OF IRISH UNITY
TORONTO, Sept. 30 /CNW/ - Sinn Féin's Conor Murphy MLA, MP will visit Ottawa and Montreal on a major speaking tour from October 4 - 8, 2010. Mr. Murphy is a prominent member of Sinn Féin and Minister for Regional Development in the northern Irish executive. The major focus of his trip will be on Irish reunification. Mr. Murphy will meet with Canadian politicians, trade unionists and members of the Irish Canadian community.
During the tour, Friends of Sinn Féin shall publicize the Irish Unity Pledge, a broad based Canadian campaign to win support for Irish unity.
Mr. Murphy will speak at the following public events during his visit:
