TORONTO, Oct. 21, 2010 /CNW/ - Sino-Forest Corporation (TSX: TRE) (the "Company") today announced that it has completed its previously announced offering of an aggregate of US$600 million principal amount of guaranteed senior notes (the "Notes") due 2017. The Notes shall bear interest at a rate of 6.25% per annum, payable semi-annually and shall mature on October 21, 2017. The offering was made on a private placement basis in Canada, the United States and internationally pursuant to available exemptions, through a syndicate of initial purchasers formed by BofA Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse.
