SIRIUS Canada Receives SOCAN Patron of Music Award

TORONTO , Nov. 26 /CNW/ - SIRIUS Canada Inc., the country's leading satellite radio company today announced it has been awarded a 2009 Patron of Music Award by SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers). The prestigious award was presented to SIRIUS Canada at the 20th Annual SOCAN Awards Gala at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto earlier this week.

The Patron of Music Award is given to member of Canada's music-user community who stands out as a leader in respecting the rights of music creators and copyright owners.
