SiriusXM Canada Announces Change of Slaight Communication's Board of Directors Appointee

David Coriat appointed nominee for Slaight Communications

TORONTO, Jan. 25, 2013 /CNW/ - Sirius XM Canada Holdings Inc. ("SiriusXM Canada" or the "Company") (TSX: XSR), parent of Sirius XM Canada Inc., today announced that Mr. David Coriat has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Coriat will serve as Slaight Communications Inc.'s nominee to the Board of Directors, replacing Mr. Gary Slaight.

Mr. Coriat currently serves as Executive Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Slaight Communications Inc. and was previously Executive Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Standard Broadcasting Corporation Limited. Mr. Coriat also served on the Board of Sirius Canada Inc. from its launch until the merger with XM Canada. Mr. Coriat has been a Canadian Chartered Accountant since 1976 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto.
