SiriusXM Canada announces new weekly tech show

"The Feed" to air weekends on SiriusXM's Canada Talks with Amber Mac and Michael B

TORONTO, May 7, 2015 /CNW/ - SiriusXM Canada (TSX: XSR), the country's leading audio entertainment company, today announced the new weekly tech show The Feed with hosts and leading Canadian tech personalities Amber Mac and Michael B. The Feed will air on SiriusXM's Canada Talks (channel 167) every Saturday and Sunday, starting Saturday, May 9 at 11 am EST.

Amber Mac and Michael B will showcase the latest in the world of tech and social media each week, including security and safety online, start-up tips from entrepreneurs, the latest downloads, plus they'll review what's hot in hardware and software today. They'll also welcome a regular lineup of special guests, including online celebrities such as Vine funny man @Brittlestar and GeeksLife guru Luria Petrucci.

Amber Mac is an entrepreneur (Konnekt Digital Engagement, Inc.; AmberMac Media, Inc.), television host, professional speaker, and bestselling author of the social media business book Power Friending (The Globe & Mail national bestseller). She has hosted shows for Fast Company, G4TechTV, AOL and CTV, as well as appeared regularly as a tech expert on CNN and CBS. Mac will be joined on The Feed by TV host, executive producer, tech and business news journalist, Michael Bancroft who has worked for some of the leading broadcasters, including CBS, CNBC, ABC, Network Ten, BNN and CTV.

The new show will launch on Saturday, May 9 at 11 am EST on Canada Talks (channel 167) and will air each Saturday at 11 am and 7 pm EST and Sundays at 5 am, 1 pm and 5 pm EST. Those satellite radio subscribers who add SiriusXM Internet Radio access to their subscription can also listen on the SiriusXM Internet Radio App and online.
