Pyromaître's projects consist in improving the energy efficiency of a product line, developing a new product, acquiring quality control instruments and implementing a marketing strategy for the United States and European markets.
Located in Lévis, Pyromaître is an innovative SME that was founded in 1981. It designs, assembles and markets industrial electrical and gas ovens whose components are manufactured by subcontractors. These ovens are used for the high-speed, high-precision heat treatment of a variety of metal parts, including coils, torsion bars and constant-velocity joints to improve their durability, hardness and yield strength. Pyromaître is the first manufacturer to offer a computer numerical control (CNC) oven and has developed expertise that is recognized by motor vehicle parts industry giants that require heat treatment in their manufacturing process. These ovens stand out from the competition because of their lower energy consumption, superior efficiency, small size and greater precision (uniform heat distribution). The intellectual property rights lie in a set of characteristics in the oven assembly: the choice of components, the assembly sequence, and so on. |
