Sixth Annual Edition of Canadian Investment Guide Now Available

This year's publication helps investors lay the foundation for solid investing plans

TORONTO , Dec. 10 /CNW/ - The Canadian Investment Awards (CIA), Canada's premier awards program recognizing excellence in the financial services industry, is proud to announce that the sixth annual edition of Canadian Investment Guide, copublished by Investment Executive and the CIA, is now available.

Canadian Investment Guide is a unique consumer magazine based on the extensive research and analysis compiled for the CIA Awards by committees of industry experts - coupled with insightful articles from Investment Executive's best writers.

The 2010 edition of Canadian Investment Guide includes this year's top-performing investment funds as ranked by the CIA's panels of judges. It also includes a special section on individual award winners, as determined by CIA juries. To be considered for an award, funds and firms must meet stringent eligibility requirements. In coordination with Morningstar Canada , the judges -- some 50 senior analysts and industry professionals -- reviewed the absolute, relative and risk-adjusted returns of the investment funds in the various categories. They also weighed qualitative aspects such as management, availability and fees.
