Skittles® Last Minute Gift Shop Opens Today, December 24 at 11:59 PM for Canada's Diehard Delayers
TORONTO, Dec. 24, 2018 /CNW/ - Today, Christmas Eve at 11:59 p.m., the Skittles brand will be opening the first-ever Skittles Last Minute Gift Shop to honour Canada's proud procrastinators who leave gift buying until the last minute. A recent survey by the brand revealed 81 percent of Canadians agree more of us should be rewarded for taking our time, rather than being judged for it. The Skittles brand concurs, so today they are rewarding pro procrastinators who have waited until quite literally the very last minute to do their holiday shopping.
What: |
Inside, the shop will have 60 unique gifts with a Skittles twist, representing every second of the last minute, one for each of the first 60 people in line. |
When: |
December 24 at 11:59 PM – the VERY last possible minute |
Where: |
423 Queen Street West, Unit 112 |
Why: |
Canadians were asked about the craziest-last minute gifts they'd ever received, their list included a singing mug, a battery warmer, and a "love you more than bacon" plaque. While all get points for creativity, the Skittles team wanted to give Canadians a place where they could pick-up some truly sweet gifts that are only available at the last minute. |
