Sky Harvest forges relationship with Northern Centre for Advanced Technologies

VANCOUVER, Dec. 5, 2013 /CNW/ - Sky Harvest Energy Corp. is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the Northern Centre for Advanced Technologies Inc. ("NORCAT"), a private non-profit organization based in Sudbury, Ontario that has a mandate to foster the growth of innovative and scalable companies, whereby Sky Harvest's subsidiary, Sky Vertical Technologies Inc., will move its vertical wind axis turbine testing and manufacturing facilities to its 70,000 square foot incubator and development facility. The arrangement is expected to allow Sky Vertical to streamline its operations and achieve higher productivity while significantly reducing its overhead.
As a patron of NORCAT, Sky Vertical will have access to its state-of-the-art technology incubation facility, which includes its Underground Mine Testing Centre that provides resources and equipment to support technology testing in an operating mine environment, as well as product testing services for harsh and extreme climates. NORCAT will also aid Sky Vertical in accessing global experts and advisors in the sector with the aim of helping the Company grow, create knowledge economy employment opportunities, and generate wealth. NORCAT's services will include assisting with product technical design, engineering, and development; prototyping, testing, and enhancing speed to market; and arranging capital services, grants, and forgivable loans.
