SkyPower Advocates for Increasing Utility-scale Solar Power Adoption Globally at United Nations Forum
NEW YORK, NY, June 4, 2014 /CNW/ - SkyPower, the world's largest solar developer, is co-sponsoring the United Nations' first annual Sustainable Energy for All Forum (SE4ALL) to promote access to renewable energy around the world. The inaugural conference takes place June 4-6 at the UN Headquarters in New York. Kerry Adler, SkyPower's President and Chief Executive Officer, will speak as a panelist with other global leaders on the "Doubling the Share of Renewables in the Global Energy Mix" Global Leaders Panel, moderated by Matthew Bishop, The Economist's U.S. Business Editor and New York Bureau Chief.

The SE4ALL Forum features prominent figures, including UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon and World Bank President, Jim Yong Kim. The three-day conference is also attended by heads of state, ministers of foreign affairs, invited CEOs of the private sector and leaders of civil society active in sustainable energy issues. The UN Decade of Sustainable Energy for All (2014-2024) will officially launch on June 5.
