YTZ Wins Prestigious Skytrax Award for Sixth Year

TORONTO, April 3, 2019 /CNW/ - Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport was named one of the world's best airports at the Skytrax World Airport Awards, the premier international airport awards voted on by nearly 14 million passengers worldwide. Billy Bishop Airport was ranked the tenth best airport in the world in the under 5 million passenger category, representing the sixth year Toronto's City Airport has won a prestigious Skytrax award.
The 2019 Awards are based on millions of airport survey questionnaires completed by more than 100 different nationalities of air travellers, covering 550 airports worldwide. In the independent survey, passengers continue to rank Billy Bishop Airport highly across 39 key performance indicators, including fast check-in times, ease of access to the terminal, and the courtesy and efficiency of airport staff.
