Slate Retail REIT Completes Acquisition of East Little Creek

TORONTO, Aug. 25, 2014 /CNW/ - Slate Retail REIT ("Slate Retail" the "REIT") (TSX: SRT.U / SRT.UN) today announced that it has successfully completed the previously announced acquisition of a grocery-anchored shopping center located in Norfolk, Virginia.

East Little Creek was acquired for US$9,850,000 (US$141 per square foot). The 69,620 square foot property is 100 percent occupied and anchored by Farm Fresh.
