TORONTO, Jan. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Slice™'s record breaking hit, The Real Housewives of Vancouver, returns February 5th at 10pm ET/PT for an explosive second season. Three brand new wives will join Jody Claman, Mary Zilba and Ronnie Negus - setting the stage for new friendships, new foes and a whole lot of drama.
"Season One of The Real Housewives of Vancouver was a massive hit on Slice™. Adding three new wives to our existing roster of fabulous stars is going to turn the series on its head, tripling the potential for new relationships, drama and spectacle," said Barbara Williams, Senior Vice President of Content, Shaw Media.
Meet the new Housewives:
- Robin Reichman - A southern belle who calls it like it is, this mother of two lives a country chic lifestyle complete with two nannies, a home in one of Vancouver's most prestigious areas and a Prada saddle for her thoroughbred horse, Giggy - all thanks to a healthy settlement from her recent divorce.
- Ioulia Reynolds - A Russian-born beauty with a fiery temper and a quirky sense of humour, Ioulia is married to a wealthy venture capitalist almost 20 years her senior. At 26, Ioulia has her hands full focusing on her career as an art dealer and playing step-mother to her husband's four children.
- Amanda Hansen - A bad girl gone good, Amanda is a mother of three and a recovering alcoholic who has given up her partying ways and found strength in a life of sobriety and healthy living. Left well provided for by her ex-husband, she doesn't have to work to maintain her luxurious lifestyle. As a self-proclaimed sex addict, Amanda chooses to focus her time on her passionate relationship with her long distance boyfriend Kyle.
Giving the first season a run for its money, Season Two of The Real Housewives of Vancouver takes viewers inside the lavish lives of six of Vancouver's wealthiest and most glamorous Housewives - following the epic highs and lows of their drama-packed daily lives. From butt-lifts to extravagant spa treatments, walking the catwalk to rocking centre-stage and rubbing shoulders with the country's elite, the wives' nerves, patience and relationships are all put to the test in the highly anticipated new season.
