TORONTO, May 7, 2019 /CNW/ - On June 10th, 2019 Niagara startup Haste and Hustle will welcome Sir Richard Branson to the historic Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto for an all-day conference designed to educate and inspire 3,000 entrepreneurs and business professionals.
In only its third year in business, Haste and Hustle has booked one of the world's biggest and most well-known entrepreneurs as the event's keynote speaker. Just days before Ryerson Convocation Ceremonies begin, the stage will be set with a powerful message of turning dreams into reality.
"It's incredible to see what can happen when you attach vision with execution. As an entrepreneur, I realized the challenges startups face first hand. My vision was to design a conference that would provide access to resources from leading industry experts for entrepreneurs and aspiring business professionals," said Haste and Hustle Founder Shauna Arnott.
A key component of Haste and Hustle's business strategy is fostering meaningful relationships with appropriate investors and sponsors. The title sponsor for this year's event is Meridian, the largest credit union in Ontario and third largest in Canada. Access to funding remains at the core of business failure; this topic as well as strategies to building appropriate community relationships will be explored at the conference.
"It's important for entrepreneurs to know where to look for funding, and it's just as important that they're aware of how to nurture these relationships," said Arnott. "Attending Haste and Hustle is definitely a step in the right direction for anyone looking to gain confidence and knowledge within this area of business."
Haste and Hustle launched its first event in Niagara, Ontario bringing together 800 innovators, business professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs. In its second year, Haste and Hustle welcomed over 2,400 attendees to the Sony Centre. Both events were led by keynote speaker, bestselling author, entrepreneur, and internet sensation Gary Vaynerchuk.
Conference attendees represent the industries of technology, film makers and content creators, banking, Fintech, retail, and sales. The event will also feature networking opportunities for guests to connect and grow their business with likeminded professionals.
As an added impact initiative, Haste and Hustle has committed to donating $10 from every ticket to Construction for Change to help build a medical clinic in an indigenous community in Canada.
