SNC-Lavalin Awarded Contract by Norilsk Nickel for Sulphur Dioxide Mitigation Project in Russia Français
MONTREAL, Nov. 9, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - SNC-Lavalin (TSX: SNC) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Norilsk Nickel (LSE:MNODI) to implement a Sulphur Recovery Project at the Nadezhda Smelter, located at the company's Polar Division in the Krasnoyarsk Region, Russia. This project is one of the largest sulphur dioxide mitigation projects in the world.
SNC-Lavalin will prepare detailed engineering and process drawings, and will execute the project through its offices in Toronto and Moscow, as well as a site presence in Norilsk Nickel. "SNC-Lavalin has forged a deep relationship with Norilsk Nickel, and we are proud to continue to execute high technology projects that provide state of the art sulphur emission reduction solutions for our clients worldwide.
