/CNW Telbec/ - SNC-Lavalin is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract to design, build and do the procurement for the City of
Calgary
West Light Rapid Transit (LRT) Extension Project.
The project consists of an eight-kilometre extension to the
Calgary
LRT Transit System between 11th Street SW, in the downtown area, to 73rd Street SW in the western part of the City. Included in the scope of work are six passenger stations, nine traction power substations, a major highway interchange, two park-and-ride facilities, a four-storey office building and associated road works.
