SNC-Lavalin ProFac Gulf Management awarded a total integrated facilities management contract by Msheireb Properties in Doha Français
MONTREAL, June 23, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - SNC-Lavalin (TSX: SNC) is pleased to announce that SNC-Lavalin ProFac Gulf Management, a joint venture comprised of SNC-Lavalin and Nasser Bin Khaled Al-Thani & Sons Holding Company (NBK), has been awarded a three-year total integrated facilities management contract plus two one-year options to extend by Msheireb Properties for its Msheireb Downtown Doha project in Qatar.
The scope of the contract includes operations management; contract management; finance and costs performance management; energy, water and environmental management and a variety of other services for the property, which will include more than 100 buildings with a combination of commercial and residential properties and retail, cultural and entertainment areas. The world's first sustainable downtown regeneration project, the QR20 billion development, spread across 31 hectares (76 acres), is aimed at revitalizing and preserving the historial centre of Doha.
