Total monthly results reach new heights with a 25.6% increase
MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 1 /CNW/ - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) today announced a new record for May. Total monthly sales reached 2,436 units, indicating a 25.6 percent increase over the same month last year. Continued strong results also marked the fifth consecutive month of growth for Subaru Canada with sales up 32.6 percent year-to-date.
The Subaru Legacy and Outback both garnered plenty of consumer interest as Outback sales climbed to 515 units, up 336.4 percent over last May, while Legacy sedan sales rose to 265 units, an increase of 295.5 percent over the same month last year.
SCI is also thrilled to report its best ever result in the highly competitive spring selling season. These results further solidify Subaru Canada's position as the fastest growing Japanese manufacturer in 2010.
