Just in time for warmer weather; Shop at Sobeys, Save at Shell
STELLARTON, NS, May 27, 2014 /CNW/ - Sobeys customers can now add savings at Shell to their shopping basket. Beginning this week, Sobeys customers in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia can earn fuel discount coupons for up to 10 cents off per litre on their next fill up at Shell.
"With summer fast approaching and more Canadians taking to the road for weekends and vacations, what better time to help our customers save a little bit extra," said Doug Brummer, Senior Vice President, Sobeys Marketing. "In addition to Club Sobeys rewards, great prices and an exciting line-up of summer products in-store, the 'Shop at Sobeys, Save at Shell' promotion is one more way we are thanking our customers for choosing Sobeys."
For every $20 spent on eligible purchases in a single transaction, Sobeys customers automatically earn a coupon for one cent off per litre, to a maximum of 10 cents off per litre. Sobeys stores in Ontario and the western provinces will issue the fuel discount coupons until August 21, 2014.
"It's simple math and there's no sign-up or membership required," added Brummer. "We wanted to make it easy and convenient for customers to save."
Shell will accept one Sobeys coupon for a purchase of up to 75 litres of fuel at participating locations until September 7, 2014 in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.
There are 641 Shell stations and 183 Sobeys stores in Ontario and the western provinces, and 12 Sobeys Urban Fresh locations in Ontario.
