TORONTO, Nov. 25 /CNW/ - What's the worst holiday gift you've ever received? A plastic singing fish? A giant ceramic chicken? A gaudy holiday tie? This year Canadians are taking the pledge to buy only meaningful holiday gifts by joining the Bad Tie Boycott [http://bit.ly/BadTieBoycott]. From December 1st through to December 12th, the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) will count down the best of the worst gift submissions from the "Bad Tie Boycott" pledge and will share them on its Twitter and Facebook channels to encourage others to avoid these ghosts of Christmas gifts past.
To view additional details, including a list of the worst holiday gifts submitted to our Bad Tie Boycott, photos and matte stories or to schedule a one-on-one interview with NCC's Associate Vice President of Direct Marketing, Jill Murray, to talk about the Bad Tie Boycott, please visit our Social Media Release or contact Teva Harrison at the address indicated below.
