OTTAWA, Aug. 18, 2017 /CNW/ - Cannabis Canada Association is pleased to announce Solace Health as one of the Association's newest members.
Solace Health based in Mississauga, Ontario has a Cultivation Licence to produce medical cannabis under Health Canada's Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR).
With the addition of Solace Health, Cannabis Canada continues to increase its position as the leading organization of companies that currently hold Health Canada licences to cultivate and sell medical cannabis.
"Cannabis Canada is pleased to welcome Solace Health to the Association," said Colette Rivet, Cannabis Canada's Executive Director. "Given this is an extremely important time for companies in the cannabis sector in Canada, most companies who receive a licence from Health Canada recognize this and are becoming members of our Association. They want to ensure their interests are represented as all three levels of government across the country make decisions regarding the future of the cannabis marketplace in Canada."
"Solace Health is excited to join the Cannabis Canada Association with the goal of promoting the highest standards of ethics and patient care in the industry," noted Vijay Sappani, Chief Strategy Officer of Solace Health. "Working directly with other licensed producers through Cannabis Canada Association will help elevate the whole industry and ultimately provide added value to the patient – which is directly in line with Solace Health's mission to be a truly patient centric company. Solace Health looks forward to working with the Association and other licensed producers to establish the highest standards for the Canadian cannabis industry so that Canada continues to be a global leader in the cannabis space".
