Solium Acquires Private Company Analytics Technology from VC Experts

CALGARY, Jan. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Solium Capital Inc. ("Solium") (TSX: SUM), the leading global provider of cloud-enabled software and services for equity administration, financial reporting and compliance, announced today that it has acquired intellectual property associated with the Private Company Analysis Tool ("PCAT") from VC Experts Inc. ("VC Experts"), a leading provider of analytics for managing and modeling private company capital structures.

The PCAT enables venture capital, private equity and angel investors to model financing and exit events with confidence. Solium's clients, especially private companies and law firms that serve them, will benefit from this sophisticated tool that enables them to model next rounds of financing, handle complex scenarios related to liquidity events and calculate shareholder payouts. The PCAT will also serve the investor community, as it assists investors to meet their ASC 820 requirements.
