MONTRÉAL, Sept. 11, 2024 /CNW/ - This Friday, the Lotto Max jackpot will reach 75 million dollars, a record for a pan-Canadian lottery game. The total amount up for grabs will be up to 87 million dollars since no less than 12 Maxmillions prizes will also be drawn.
"Lotto 6/49 is one of Quebecers' favourite lottery games. Quebecers have won 43 jackpots and over 3.6 billion dollars with this game since it launched!" said Isabelle Jean, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Lottery Games at Loto-Québec.
If no one wins the jackpot on Friday, the next draw, on September 17, will be for 80 million dollars, the new maximum jackpot the lottery game can now reach. It would be the largest jackpot ever offered in Canada!
With its maximum jackpot now at 80 million dollars, Lotto Max remains the lottery game that inspires the biggest dreams. Players will still have the chance to win Maxmillions prizes when the jackpot reaches or exceeds 50 million dollars.
The price per play remains the same at $5. Customers can purchase Lotto Max tickets at retailers, on lotoquebec.com and with the Lotteries app. They can also play with Formule groupe to improve their odds of winning a prize.
Customers have until 10:30 p.m. on Friday to purchase tickets for that evening's draw.
