Sonaca Montreal and Bombardier Aerospace sign a letter of intent for the next five years

MIRABEL, QC, July 19, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Sonaca Montreal and Bombardier Aerospace have agreed to soon renew all of Sonaca Montreal's contracts for the manufacture of wing panels on Bombardier aircraft programs, for the period 2014-2018.

Since 2003, Sonaca Montreal has demonstrated its expertise in the manufacture of wing panels on many regional and business aircraft programs for the world's largest aircraft manufacturers. Bombardier Aerospace recognizes the opportunity to continue its valued collaboration with Sonaca Montreal.

Sonaca Montreal and Bombardier Aerospace have concluded a letter of intent with the near-term objective of renewing the contracts for five years (January 2014 to December 2018).

In the event that the parties conclude a final agreement, Sonaca Montreal would remain Bombardier Aerospace's supplier for the manufacture of wing panels on the regional and business aircraft programs on which Sonaca Montreal has been involved for several years, namely: Challenger 605*, Challenger 850*, CRJ700*, CRJ900*, CRJ1000* NextGen*, Learjet 70*, Learjet 75* and Q400* NextGen.
