Sonoco Listed on Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for Fifth Consecutive Year

HARTSVILLE, S.C., Sept. 17, 2013 /CNW/ - Sonoco (NYSE: SON), one of the largest diversified global packaging companies, has been listed on the 2013/2014 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI), marking the fifth consecutive year it has received the prestigious recognition. Only 333 component companies were selected to DJSI World 2013/2014 following RobecoSAM's Corporate Sustainability Assessment of nearly 3,000 invited companies.
