SONOMAX EXECUTES AGREEMENT WITH ESTERLINE RACAL ACOUSTICS

ESTERLINE RACAL ACOUSTICS INTENDS TO INCORPORATE SONOMAX'S NEXT GENERATION EARPIECE TECHNOLOGY IN PRODUCTS FOR WORLDWIDE MILITARY MARKET

MONTREAL, Aug. 23 /CNW Telbec/ - Sonomax Technologies Inc. (SHH:TSX Venture Exchange) is pleased to announce that it has executed a development license agreement with Racal Acoustics Ltd., a component of Esterline Technologies Corp. (NYSE:ESL). This comprehensive agreement was signed pursuant to the provisions of a Term Sheet between the parties that was announced on June 17, 2010. Under the terms of the agreement, the parties will develop a suite of military communications and hearing protection products using the Sonomax V4 earpiece technology ("Sonomax Outside") which it plans to market worldwide.

"We have been monitoring Sonomax's progress for over two years now, with a view to integrating their technology into one segment of our product portfolio. The realization of the current V4 is a strong step towards this. Once initial testing has been completed in Q4/2010 we expect to be in a position to prepare a comprehensive development plan for integration of Sonomax into our product strategy that will include projected sales numbers and other deliverables."
