Who: |
- The Colorectal Cancer Association is hosting this event to encourage all Montrealers to Get Out There and be active to promote physical activity as a means of reducing the risk of colon cancer and many other diseases.
- Men and women of all ages are invited to participate and are encouraged to bring their entire families, and even their dogs.

What: |
- Sortez! Bougez! / Get Out There & Move! will be a fun-filled day of outdoor activities at Mount Royal Park to promote healthy lifestyles and cancer prevention for all Montrealers.
- Activities with CCAC instructors include Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Hiking, Kickboxing, Bicycling, and more!
- A participation fee of $25 per person allows individuals or teams to engage in an activity for at least one hour and receive a healthy lunch following their activity.

Why: |
- The CCAC is dedicated to colorectal cancer Awareness & Education, Support for patients and Advocacy on their behalf. With an emphasis this year on healthy lifestyles and colorectal cancer screening we can prevent cancer and save lives!
- Physical activity has been proven to reduce the risk of colon cancer (the second biggest cancer killer for men and women in Canada) and many other diseases.
- Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in Canada. An estimated 23,300 Canadians (Quebec: 6,200) will be diagnosed with the disease this year and unfortunately, approximately 9,200 (Quebec: 2,450) are expected to die from it.
