MONTREAL, Feb. 3, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Montreal startup Soul.City Group Inc. announces the release of its application Soul.City on the Apple App Store! It is now possible to discover a city through your moods. To enhance this new experience for visitors to a city such as Montreal, Soul.City proposes walking itineraries of 2, 4, or 6 hours selected from a list of feelings.
Starting with the realization that guide books do not take into account the notion of "How I feel right now", the startup's three co-founders polished their idea to create an innovative local discovery app. The itineraries are created by people who have passion for their city, and a true enthusiasm for the proposed points of interest. The itineraries are composed of monuments, streets, bars, restaurants, boutiques, parks, and other points of interest that help the new or returning visitor feel what grips us most in any experience: emotion.
The result is a sleek and easy to navigate app. which guides you effortlessly to your starting point, and accompanies your visit with photos and descriptions of the proposed points of interest. The itineraries may also be downloaded ahead of time to avoid roaming charges.
The Soul.City team, 10 collaborator strong, will add and renew content regularly. The city of Strasbourg, in France, where the company has established its European offices, will soon launch on Soul.City, followed by San Francisco. The co-founders' main objective: to constantly improve and personalize the user experience, wherever she or he may be in the world.
