MONTREAL, April 4, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The bike path between the South Shore (Saint-Lambert) and Parc Jean-Drapeau, and Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve will both open to the public on Monday April 7th. The ice bridge situated to the west of the Champlain Bridge between Île-des-Sœurs and the Saint-Lawrence River will also be open.
Cyclists, inline skaters and joggers will be able to enjoy using Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve until November 15, 2014, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Circuit attracts an estimated 173,200 users per year. The 4.361-kilometre-long Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve provides some stunning views of downtown Montréal and the Saint Lawrence River.
