TORONTO, Oct. 12 /CNW/ - Canwest and Canada's Walk of Fame announced today that an amazing roster of Canadian musicians will perform during the Tribute Show this weekend. The glamorous event will take place at Toronto's Canon Theatre.
In addition to honouring seven great Canadians, the Tribute Show airing Wednesday, October 20 - 9pm ET/PT on Global and SliceTM will feature performances by Juno winners Jully Black, Hawksley Workman and Alex Cuba; this year's recipient of the inaugural Allan Slaight Award Nikki Yanofsky plus, Canada's Walk of Fame class of 2001 inductee and music icon Burton Cummings.

Howie Mandel hosts the 13th annual Canada's Walk of Fame event on Saturday, October 16th honouring musician David Clayton-Thomas; singer Nelly Furtado; magician, the late Doug Henning; Olympian Clara Hughes; actor Eric McCormack; author Farley Mowat; and actor Sarah Polley.
The two-hour Canada's Walk Of Fame show pays tribute to a selection of internationally recognized Canadian luminaries for their lifetime achievements in the fields of music, sport, film and television, as well as the literary, visual and performing arts, science and innovation.
