Special Olympics Ontario 2019 Invitational Youth Games Officially Open, Host City, Toronto, Welcomes Athletes from across Canada, the US and Carribbean
TORONTO, May 15, 2019 /CNW/ - Host city Toronto officially welcomed more than 2,000 athletes from Canada, US and the Caribbean. Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders declares 2019 Special Olympics Ontario Invitational Youth Games (IYG) #youthgames2019 games officially open alongside student-athlete Patrick Carstens. Competitions including, Athletics, Basketball, Bocce, Floor Hockey and Soccer, take place at venues across the GTA May 14-17. Admission is free.
