Special report of the Québec Ombudsman - Detention conditions, administration of justice and crime prevention in Nunavik - Press invitation Français
QUÉBEC CITY, Feb. 15, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - A special report of the Québec Ombudsman entitled Detention conditions, administration of justice and crime prevention in Nunavik will be tabled in the National Assembly on Thursday, February 18, 2016.
Ombudsperson Raymonde Saint-Germain will give a news conference at Édifice Pamphile-Le May, 1035, rue des Parlementaires, Room 1.30, at 11:15 a.m.
A technical briefing for journalists will take place in Room RC-171 of the Parliament Building at 8:45 a.m. The briefing will begin with an overview (lasting approximately 10 minutes) of the report, after which journalists can ask comprehension-related questions. Until 10 a.m., they can obtain the EMBARGOED report in Room RC-171.
Journalists who are not members of the Press Gallery and who want an accreditation to attend the technical briefing or the news conference must contact the Parliamentary Correspondents' Service at (418) 643-1357 or at [email protected] before arriving at the National Assembly.
The news conference can be viewed live on the National Assembly website (www.assnat.qc.ca).
As soon as the special report of the Québec Ombudsman has been tabled by the President of the National Assembly, it will be posted at www.protecteurducitoyen.qc.ca.
