Spin Master's Catherine Demas and Tara Tucker Named Wonder Women in Toys, Licensing and Entertainment
Spin Master People and Products Receive Accolades
TORONTO, Feb. 25, 2016 /CNW/ - Spin Master Corp., ("Spin Master"), a leading global children's entertainment company and one of the world's top five toy companies, was recognized with multiple awards at both the Wonder Women Awards Gala and the North American International Toy Fair 2016. This year, in addition to awards for its toys and games, two of its executives were named Wonder Women in Toys by Women in Toys, Licensing and Entertainment (WIT).
The two executives, Tara Tucker, Vice President, Global Marketing Communications, and Catherine Demas, Vice President and Global Business Unit Head, Preschool/Girls, were recognized for their industry leadership in public relations and manufacturing, respectively.
Ms. Demas, a design and innovation visionary, has successfully combined the worlds of toys and entertainment for more than 25 years. She joined Spin Master in 2011 and cites the launch of Paw Patrol, the number one preschool brand franchise in 2015, among her greatest accomplishments.
Ms. Tucker, who joined the company in 2014, is at the forefront of communications for Spin Master. An accomplished brand architect with more than 20 years' experience, her strategy and acumen has helped to grow Spin Master's media presence and awareness in advance of and following its IPO in 2015.

Techlicious named Air Hogs one of its Best of New York Toy Fair, and Spin Master received two Toy Industry Association Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards for Meccanoid G15, Innovative Toy of the Year, and Bunchems, Activity Toy of the Year.
