MONTREAL, May 23, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Air France announced it will be back as a sponsor of Montréal's 8th Osheaga Music and Arts Festival August 2 to 4, 2013 at Parc Jean-Drapeau.
After sponsoring the pixel rain on the closing night of the 2012 edition (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPLqdLzoCEY), Air France will be presenting this year the festival's "Made in France" stage, featuring 6 French artists and bands: Phoenix, Lou Doillon, C2C, Rone, Odezenne and Hyphen Hyphen. This is being made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Consulate General of France in Québec and the Institut français.
"We are very pleased with this collaboration that will help shine the spotlight on today's French music scene during the festival," commented Fabien Pelous, Vice President and General Manager of AIR FRANCE KLM Canada.
In addition to flying the Made in France artists from Paris to Montréal, Air France will also be offering 2 tickets as part of the "Win a trip to the 2014 Eurockéennes de Belfort" contest, which will enable the winner and the travelling companion of his or her choice to fly to France to attend the festival. The prize also includes 2 VIP passes, 3 nights' accommodations in Belfort, and a backstage tour courtesy of the Eurocks team.
People interested in entering the contest may already do so on www.osheaga.com/airfrance or by joining the Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/326700687459807/).
