Sport Clips Haircuts Sets First Year Growth Record with 53-Licenses Awarded in Canada
Leader in hair care for men and boys continues to expand rapidly throughout Canada
LONDON, ON, Nov. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Sport Clips Haircuts, a modern-day barbershop concept and leader in hair care for men and boys, announced today that they have just awarded their 53rd franchise license for Canada. This record setting pace has the Canadian Master Franchisor well on their way to achieving their stated goal of having 50 locations open in 2015, 100 open in 2017, and 200 open in 2022.
The franchise currently has six locations open across Southern Ontario and recently opened its first location outside of the province in Saskatoon, SK, making a total of seven locations open and operating in Canada. Originating from the U.S. with over 1,100 locations, the brand is quickly increasing its presence north of the border. With 53-committed licenses, Sport Clips is now in position to provide approximately 425 career opportunities for managers and hair care stylists across Canada.

David Allen, who has signed for locations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), was formerly the COO for McDonald's Canada.
