Springhill Institution: federal correctional officers to protest management abuses and threats to public safety

MONCTON, NB, March 19, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Correctional officers from federal penitentiaries across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia will be demonstrating outside Springhill Institution at 10 am Wednesday, March 20. The members of the Union of Canadian Correctional Officers (UCCO-SACC-CSN) will use the occasion to denounce abusive management practices that threaten public safety. UCCO-SACC-CSN Atlantic Region President Doug White will be available for interviews.
