Sprylogics' BreakingSports App Scores a Touchdown with the Fastest News Coverage for College Football
BreakingSports, the app that delivers the fastest sports news and updates, is bringing users coverage of college football and kicking it off with the College Football Campus Challenge
TORONTO, Sept. 3, 2015 /CNW/ - BreakingSports, created by Sprylogics International Corp. (TSXV: SPY), is the sports news app that delivers quick, personalized alerts for a user's favorite sports, teams, and players. BreakingSports is now including coverage for college football just in time for the season. To get fans excited, BreakingSports is announcing its College Football Campus Challenge that will reward the team school that has the most subscribers with a range of great prizes.
With BreakingSports, users receive timely push notifications on their favorite players and teams with social media sourced updates. The app utilizes specialized algorithms that tap Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, Periscope, Meerkat, and news outlets for the latest sports updates and delivers them to users in fully automated real time. Users can now follow their favorite college football teams and get up-to-the-second coverage on everything from rumors and headlines, to scores and injuries.
For the College Football Campus Challenge, BreakingSports users simply need to subscribe to notifications for their favorite college football team, enter their email for prize sweepstakes, and share with their friends. The more subscribers a team gets, the higher the chances of individual users winning campus prizes like gift cards, flat screen TVs, and tickets to sporting events. If a team gets over 750 subscribers, they automatically get entered in to the national prize and grand prize drawings. The grand prize will be the naming rights for a school to be built in a developing country in collaboration with Pencils of Promise.
"College football season is one of the most exciting times of the year for campuses across the U.S.," says Matt Burns, Director of Growth at Sprylogics. "The Campus Challenge aims to get students excited for the season, while boosting team pride and school spirit. BreakingSports will be giving students and college football fans real time coverage of all of their favorite teams so they never miss a second of the action. We're looking forward to seeing which teams have the most die-hard fans, and which campus will take home the grand prize."
In addition to college football, users can follow teams and players from the EPL, MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAAB, Formula 1, and Nascar. BreakingSports is available for free on iOS and Android, and on the Apple Watch.
