SPY SPOTTING: THE STARS OF FAMILY CHANNEL'S NEW SERIES 'CONNOR UNDERCOVER'
VISIT ONTARIO PLACE TO PROMOTE SERIES AND SIGN AUTOGRAPHS
TORONTO, Sept. 2 /CNW/ - Shaftesbury Films and Heroic Film Company are taking their new tween series Connor Undercover to Ontario Place on September 2 and 3, 2010 for a special "Spy The Difference" photo contest, in partnership with clothing store West 49. Visitors to Ontario Place will be asked to "Spy The Difference" between two photos from the series for a chance to win a $1000 shopping spree at West 49. Connor Undercover will premiere on Family Channel in Canada on September 17th at 9:30pm.

What: The launch of new tween series Connor Undercover will be promoted through a "Spy The Difference" contest and appearances at Ontario Place. The two leads from the series will be on-site for several hours each day to sign autographs and meet fans. When: September 2nd and 3rd, 2010 from noon - 2pm. Connor Undercover follows the adventures of 15-year-old spy buff Connor Heath (Max Morrow), whose life is kicked into overdrive when Gisela Calicos (Lola Tash), the first daughter of the leader of a small island nation, is sent to live with his family to escape political danger at home. Intrigue and mystery follow Gisela wherever she goes, so Connor soon finds life imitating his favorite action movies with bodyguards, spies, helicopters and chase scenes a part of each day. Somewhere between sports rallies and homework assignments, Connor and Gisela must scheme to figure out the mystery that's taken over their lives - if they can only learn how to get along first.
Connor Undercover is co-produced by Shaftesbury and Heroic Film Company. Produced by Suzanne French, Vice President of Children's and Family for Shaftesbury, the series is executive produced by Christina Jennings and Scott Garvie for Shaftesbury and John May and Suzanne Bolch and Karen Lee Hall for Heroic Film Company. The series also airs on ABC in Australia, Nickelodeon in Germany, Boomerang in Latin America, and has been acquired by Boomerang in the UK, Gulli in France, VRT in Belgium and Noga in Israel.
