This comprehensive solution is designed to manage all the challenges of the SEC's new modernization rules for investment companies reporting and liquidity. SS&C will be one of the first to market a product designed to support compliance with the new SEC Modernization Reporting and Liquidity Risk Management Program Rules.
The SEC modernization is specifically relevant to firms identified as Registered Investment Management Companies under the Investment Company Act of 1940, such as mutual funds, closed end funds, UITs, and ETFs. According to SEC estimates, there are approximately 12,000 funds that will be affected by the new SEC modernization rules. The first of these new reports will be due July 30, 2018.
