WINDSOR, Conn., May 8, 2017 /CNW/ -- SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC), a global provider of financial services software and software-enabled services today announced the global release of SS&C Advent's 2017 product enhancements for Geneva®, Advent Portfolio Exchange® (APX), Advent Revenue Center®, Moxy®, Advent Rules Manager®, and Tradex. The core suite of products is used by nearly 4000 locally deployed and outsourced customers.
The latest release further helps global companies increase operational efficiency, streamline financial reporting, deepen local and global compliance, and enhance accounting functionality.
"While we see other firms lagging behind on product investments, we are increasing the pace of innovation in our core solutions," said Robert Roley, Managing Director and Co-General Manager of SS&C Advent. "Our semi-annual releases deliver functionality to clients faster whether deployed locally or through Advent Outsourcing Solutions (AOS). We see continued momentum for AOS which drives new value for clients. We are pleased to report AOS bookings increased 75 percent year over year. With AOS, clients can choose from a menu of middle- and back-office services, backed by a dedicated services team. AOS offers a full range of tailored cloud solutions and operational services to augment our clients' in-house staff."
Geneva
The 17.1 release continues to extend Geneva's industry leadership as the premier solution for asset managers and hedge funds. This release provides real-time data access for IBOR and MBOR functionality and robust support for complex assets. This release also builds upon the Geneva Enterprise Information Store, the real-time accounting data store for enhanced, up-to-date data access, and reporting efficiency. Already known for robust multi-asset class accounting coverage, enhancements were made to Bank Debt, Swaps, Forward FX, and other intricate investment instruments. Geneva World Investor continues to respond to market growth in closed end funds by automating the subsequent close process for rebalancing capital, P&L, and other key components between new and existing investors. For hedge funds, we've expanded trackable investor liquidity options. These specifically take into account soft, hard, and rolling lockups across various time periods allowing firms to easily report on liquidity for current and future capital flows.
Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX)
Leveraged by nearly 900 asset and wealth managers globally, the 17.1 release includes expanded data management tools and reporting enhancements across the entire APX suite. These range from changes to facilitate 13D and composite membership tracking, to the addition of new streamlined workflows. Additionally, new audit and permission reporting was added to APX's already robust and patented audit trail to allow firms to comply with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Advent Revenue Center
Firms leveraging SS&C's fee calculation and revenue management software will benefit from additional flexibility in reporting invoices to interested parties along with new platform compatibility.
Moxy and Rules Manager
With 17.1, enhancements to Moxy and Rules Manager are headlined by the release of the new Moxy user interface. The new UI delivers a modern user experience and streamlined workflows. Another key enhancement includes connectivity with support of the 4.4 FIX protocol and SSCNet integration to provide post trade options for clients. Foundation work was completed to help clients comply with MiFID II, and will be released later this year. There is continued focus on incorporating feedback from the online Advent Community, which resulted in numerous new features including enhanced broker restriction support in Rules Manager.
Tradex
Updates to Tradex include a new ability to create batch orders from predefined templates, as well as improvements to performance and scalability across settlements, trade screens, savings plans, and payments functionality.
