QUEBEC CITY, April 27, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - SSQ Financial Group has announced that members of the SSQauto Employees' Union have ratified a new collective agreement. As a result, the general strike will end.
"The agreement between the parties demonstrates an understanding of the issues surrounding the sustainability of our pension and group insurance plans. The new collective agreement has a duration of six years, and covers the period from January 1, 2014, to December 31, 2019. All employees will return to work on April 30. Measures have been taken to ensure that activities return to normal as quickly as possible.
