STANDARDBRED PURSES INCREASE FOR 2011

VANCOUVER, Dec. 22 /CNW/ - A purse increase has been announced for Fraser Downs Racetrack & Casino today.

Raj Mutti, appointed earlier this week as Regional General Manager, Racing by Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, said "That effective December 31, 2010, purses at Fraser Downs will be increased $500 across the board."

Fraser Downs Director of Racing Jackson Wittup described it as being a 10 per cent blended increase with the bottom purses going up close to 25 per cent and the top end by 5 per cent.
