Staples Canada celebrates teachers with Teacher Appreciation Days
RICHMOND HILL, ON, Aug. 23, 2017 /CNW/ - This back-to-school season Staples Canada is celebrating teachers with its annual Teacher Appreciation Days, which offer discounts and savings on classroom essentials for the new school year.
"Teachers have an important role and having the right supplies is a key factor in staying organized and connecting with students," said Mary Sagat, president of Staples Canada. "We're happy to do what we can to help equip them with the tools they need to be successful."
Staples stores across Canada will offer four Teacher Appreciation Days – August 25 and 26, as well as September 2 and 9 (in Quebec: August 12, 19, 25 and 26). On these days, teachers will save 15 per cent on most in-store purchases and 10 per cent on technology purchases.
According to a recent survey conducted by Staples Canada ahead of the back-to-school season, teachers plan on spending 29 per cent more on classroom supplies over last year. The annual Teacher Appreciation Days at Staples reflect the company's long-standing commitment to supporting education and is part of an ongoing effort to recognize the importance of educators in the lives of Canadian students.
