PORT RYERSE, ON, June 8, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Construction of Port Ryerse Wind Farm, developed by Boralex Inc. ("Boralex") (TSX: BLX), will begin June 13 and will last about 5 months. Located east of the hamlet of Port Ryerse in Norfolk County, Ontario, this project will have 4 turbines, with a total capacity of 10 MW and will create up to 50 jobs during the construction.
Port Ryerse Wind Farm, which represents an investment of $38.4 M, has been developed in response to the Government of Ontario's initiative to promote the development of renewable energy in the province. Commissioning of the wind farm is slated for November 2016.
