"Congratulations to the Canadian tourism industry on an incredible 2016.
"International tourist arrivals grew by 11.1 percent in 2016, the largest annual growth Canada has seen in 30 years. I'm excited to work with the tourism industry to ensure this growth continues!
"Canada, which was named top destination by Lonely Planet and the New York Times, is THE place to be in 2017.
