OTTAWA, Nov. 16, 2015 /CNW/ - Today, The Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, made the following statement to highlight the Bullying Awareness Week (November 15 to November 21, 2015).
"This year is the 13th annual Bullying Awareness Week. The theme is "Stand Up!" and it reflects exactly what we all need to do: "Stand Up" to bullying!
The Government of Canada recognizes that bullying and cyberbullying are serious concerns for many Canadian families and communities. As the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, I am dedicated to working for the safety of our communities along with my colleagues at all levels of governments, organizations, educators, family and youth to help prevent and reduce bullying and cyberbullying.
