Statement by Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), on the Announcement of the Members Nominated to the 2014 Canadian Paralympic Sledge Hockey Team Français
OTTAWA, Jan. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - I am pleased to congratulate the athletes who were nominated to represent Canada in sledge hockey at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
Canada's Paralympic Sledge Hockey Team will include Derek Whitson (Chatham, Ont.), Kevin Rempel (Vineland, Ont.), Marc Dorion (Bourget, Ont.), Tyler McGregor (Forest, Ont.), Anthony Gale (Brampton, Ont.), Ben Delaney (Ottawa, Ont.), Adam Dixon (Midland, Ont.), Greg Westlake (Oakville, Ont.), Steve Arsenault (Spruce Grove, Alta.), Billy Bridges (Summerside, P.E.I.), Karl Ludwig (Brampton, Ont.), Benoit St-Amand (St-Hubert, Que.), James Gemmell (Quesnel, B.C.), Dominic Larocque (Québec City, Que.), Brad Bowden (Orton, Ont.), Graeme Murray (Gravenhurst, Ont.), and Corbin Watson (Kingsville, Ont.). The team is coached by Mike Mondin and assistant coach Curtis Hunt.
