Statement by Mr. Russell Copeman, Mayor of the Borough of Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce regarding the judgement in the Michael Applebaum trial

MONTRÉAL, Jan. 26, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - "More than three and a half years after charges were first laid, the Court has today issued its judgement in the trial of Michael Applebaum. Justice has followed its course. Our borough has turned the page on this affair and we are concentrating on the future, not the past.

The creation, by the administration of Mayor Coderre, of the Office of Inspector General in February 2014, demonstrates our commitments to fighting collusion and corruption in Montréal".

Mr. Copeman will be making no further comment on this subject.
