OTTAWA, Feb. 27, 2012 /CNW/ - Canadians across the country can be proud that Canadian artists are once again in the spotlight at the 84th Academy Awards. The quality of our films is an illustration of the strength of our Canadian cultural scene.
Today, I am pleased to congratulate all the Canadians honoured at the 84th Academy Awards as nominees in several prestigious categories. I would particularly like to applaud this year's Oscar winner Christopher Plummer for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Beginners.
