WASHINGTON, May 17, 2019 /CNW/ -- "We welcome the removal of the steel and aluminum tariffs this afternoon.

"This step is enormously significant and paves the way for swift ratification of the USMCA in all three countries.

"We urge the legislative bodies in Mexico, Canada and the US to move with all due haste towards modernizing our outdated free trade agreement for the benefit of the North American neighborhood as well as the global economy."
